Crafts for Paws Fundraiser Campaign
Creating an event for a local Ottawa non-profit
The goal of this project was intended to create an event campaign for a local non-profit organization of choice. I decided on the Ottawa Humane Society and to develop a craft-fair campaign, with the goal to attract attention over multiple platforms, and outreach towards the target audience of local sellers and attendees. The campaign aimed to gain more traction to raise money and potentially recruit new volunteers.

Crafting a concept
The campaign took inspiration from common at-home art supplies. I sketched multiple ideas before settling on a concept that felt freeform with perspective of an arts & crafts table, along with bright colors to grab attention that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. The illustrations tie animal themes like paw-prints in paint and balls of yarn, along with additional organic doodles from pencil crayons. The overall aesthetic was meant to be simple, using a modern design approach to ensure clarity while maintaining a visually appealing and engaging look.

A Pawsome Event
The result of the project was an engaging design that felt warm, fun, and inviting. The campaign translated effectively across both web and print media, ensuring consistency and impact. A bright color palette was used to capture attention and create a lively atmosphere, making the design both effective and appealing to the target audience of all ages.
